Tulips at the Ministry!

At the Ministry the spring has arrived for real now and is especially obvious in the reports from the Ministry gardener. The gardener reports this week that hedges, bushes and threes at the Ministry are budding and going green fast now. The tulips are growing tall. The lawns are growing at an alarming rate and and the lawnmowers are about to receive the regular spring-service. The summer is definitely closing in on the Ministry. The Ministry gardener also reports that the frog-move has been going on during the whole week, and 18 specimens (+ 4 lizards) has been located from the cellar to the Ministry Pond. Also 5 frogs were rescued from a pipe during a downpour and relocated to the Ministry pond. By the way, the fence around the pond has been fortified with a few new fence-posts. And the pond itself has been cleared up a bit from grass growing around the brink.

Aspargus outside the Ministry greenhouse.

The Ministry gardener has also reports from the green-house. The temperatures is climbing and are about 30-40 degrees Celsius during the days. The strawberries in the greenhouse has begun to bloom and the Ministry grapes are also started to get leaves. And outside the greenhouse the early spring produces has already started to get up. The asparaguses (Asparagus officinalis) are getting longer and thicker every day now. Time to harvest the goodies!
