This week (19) - In between Bird Cherry (swe. Hägg) and Lilac (swe. Syrén)

The President and Minister of Art & Jump made a little road-trip at the end of the week, meeting people in the eastern Skåne hemisphere, which was very uplifting. Especially the visit at the ARS & MODUS in Hammenhög, which is a facinating project run by the artist Amit Sen.

The Ministry Gardener reports that the week has meant extreme heat, going at 30 degrees celisus! (Thats 86 fahrenheit and is considered very good on a swedish summer, this early it’s considered an act of a divinity…). Everything is growing like weed, the lawns, the hedges and the bushes. The leaves of the Hollyhock (lat. Alcea, swe. Stockros) has begun growing up to half a meter already. The black bird has been spotted looking for worms. The gardener also reports that the typical Skåne summer air is here with blooming bright yellow rapeseed fields and their strong flowery scent with a touch of honey. Still a few frogs and lizzards has beenn relocated to the Ministry pond (4 specimens this week). The cherry threes and the Appel threes are reported in full bloom and the bees are starting to wake up. During the hot weekend they have been visible after a cold and wet springtime. All of a sudden it feels like full summer and the Ministry Pool is being set up as this is written.
