The great savings project
It isn’t always easy to cope with the economics. But there are several ways to get by with a little smart use of brainpower.
For example. Did you know you could have salt and pepper for free? Without paying for it. That is a great help in the kitchen. Cooking food without salt or pepper makes it a rather bland experience. Trust me. Salt and pepper could be costly. Especially pepper. But there is a solution. Go to a fast food restaurant and pretend that you are interesting in eating there. Look at the different menus. Have a good look. The longer you study these, the more the personnel will ignore you. They want a fast customer for their fast food. As you will notice there is self service for almost all the extras (salt, pepper, ketchup, straw, napkins, ice - yes, even drinks and coffee sometimes). What you do now, is to smuggle away a couple of salt and pepper-packages. They are small and easy to palm discretely and put in your pocket. If you feel this is stealing, buy a small hamburger and fill up your pockets with salt and pepper with a clear conscious.
After repeating this method a couple of times you will soon end up with plenty of salt and pepper to fill your empty salt and pepper cans in the comfort of your own home. You just have to arm yourself with a little patience and carefully tear or cut the little packages and fill up the cans. The Ministry of Art & Jump has tried out the method - and it works like a charm.
