INSTÄLLT! Cancelled jump!

lördag, maj 29th, 2010

The jump in Eslöv has been cancelled due to a fractured digit (left ring finger) see image below. The excruciating pain and swelling stops all activity - and besides the plaster can’t get wet! This is the first time ever that a jump on the HopArt Tour has been cancelled.

Konsthoppet i Eslöv har fått ställas in med kortast möjliga varsel. För första gången sedan starten (sedan 2002) får ett konsthopp ställas in p.g.a. skada.

Men denna stand-in har ställt in utan förklaring! Hoppet är därför definitivt inställt!

Förhoppningsvis äventyrar skadan INTE performancefestivalen i Uppsala (i mitten av juni) då ett hopp ska utföras…

Lurig festival

onsdag, september 9th, 2009

Idag startar LUR-festivalen i Hammenhög. (Be there or be square…).

War? What is it good for…

torsdag, september 3rd, 2009

The President of Ladonia just received a declaration of War from some unknown sender. The declaration (if that is the right word for it) was very incoherent at best and the sender was not very clear about it’s whereabouts or origin. The peace loving Ladonia, it’s State Secretary, President and it’s citizens (may the sun always shine upon them) was accused of some very strange acts and things.

We may return on this matter, since the writer sounds persistent in his/hers delusions. The matter is based on unfounded allegations (or lies) and are blown out of proportion and sounds paranoid at best. Ladonia will have to look into the matter and investigate the source of such outrageous tirades.

The Ministry Website is redesigned

tisdag, maj 26th, 2009

The Official Ministry Website has been redesigned and has got a brand new look and a new dividing. Visit the startpage at www.ministryofart.se to see the new design and to browse through the newly rebuild website. The new design has a prime focus on useability and hopefully it will be more user friendly and easier to navigate.

The new startpage gives easier access to almost all Ministry departments and also different divisions and dimensions of the webworld of the Virtual Ministry. Minor changes and additions are still ongoing, and a few quirkes and wrinkles are being ironed out - but the new look and design is now online. Since bit’s and pieces are still being stitched up and we take all suggestions and ideas into consideration. All feed-back is most welcome.

MCD (post # 1400)

fredag, maj 22nd, 2009

Time to celebrate yet another posting milestone for the Ministry NewsBlog.  Some time ago we passed post number 1300, and we’ve just passed post number 1400… This means that the Ministry News Blog now contains over 1400 articles for your enjoyment. Since the start there has been an increasing speed of growth. Several features has been added since the start. During the last month or so new links have been added (see “links” in the right margin).

Browse through the “Archives” and “Categories” or use the blogs own excellent search-engine to find items and articles, and experience what is going on, in, at and around the Ministry of Art & Jump.

From the start the blog was intended as a “News Blog” but the blog became an insight in the life of the artist and the Minister - which in fact is not always the same, or two different things…

The Ministry News blog deals with everything that revolves around the Ministry of Art & Jump (which includes thoughts, ideas, art projects, philosophy, psychology, culture - and much more) about the Trinity: the Artist, the Minister and the Ministry.

Welcome back, and make this your browsers start page. If you use Firefox you can actually add several web pages as your start page/s. The Ministry supports and recommends the use of Firefox browser! It’s fast, free and safe (and very easy to use).

By the way, “MCD” is the same thing as 1400 in roman numbers. The romans used letters for digits (no wonder that their empire crumbled…).

WTC 2009, Victoria Canada (BC)

måndag, maj 4th, 2009

Top story today, is of course the Ministrys announcement today of the officially participation of the EMOAJ Team in the 2009 World Telekinesis Competition. The WTC is being held in Victoria (BC) in Canada May 29 - June 13, 2009. It was early this spring that the Ministry got the invitation from Canada to enter the WTC, again, and today we can confirm the participation.

The World Telekinesis Competition is an open event, and all teams who have satisfied the submission requirements have been included in the competition. If you like you can check out the teams in the competition and check out the detailed information about the different participating teams here. Read all about the EMOAJ WCT-team.

Note: The name of the EMOAJ Team is of course an acronym of the Eternal Ministry of Art & Jump. You can read about the WTC here.

Ministry Moblog

fredag, april 17th, 2009

The Ministry of Art (& Jump) is now upgraded to the latest media and has got a new phlog, or rather a moblog (in fact not a “flog”, to be mistaken for a “fake blog”). It is in short a photo-blog created for a mobile blogging on the fly. The flying Ministry has got a blog to go with the modern mobile lifestyle and are now possible to reach via this link: The Ministry Moblog.

A few posts have already been done since the start in the beginning of April. The mobile phlog is mostly oriented towards images and (very) short texts - the shortness mostly due to the fact that it’s a pain in the behind to write text-messages on a mobile phone…

Austin-Release

torsdag, februari 5th, 2009

On Saturday a most valued colleague has a release party in Austin for his 12:th album. Be there or be square! Good times is an understatement. The Minister only wish he could be there in the flesh - in spirit he will!

The Network is dead, long live the Network!

onsdag, januari 14th, 2009

As told about earlier the Network NeuroArt suddenly “died” in December last year. Someone decided to pull the plug and almost effectively killed off a joint network with several members…

However.

The Network lives on and the last month or so have been very busy in building up the networking again, find a new on-line structure, a new and viable name and last but not least connecting the existing members to the “new” network.

In reality the Network changed name and most of the members decided to stay on the ship. In fact, several new members that were in pipe-line has also entered into the new network. The new name of the network is NovelArt and during December and January Ministry of Art & Jump has started up a new site, which has been set up and worked over. It will be properly and officially introduced and launched before soon. All previous references to NeuroArt obviously intends NovelArt. The link-name in “categories” have thus been updated (changed name) as well.

NovelArt has now it’s new unique website and blog up and running, and there are already a few things to read and go over for visitors, even if the site is not officially opened yet. If you like to sneak a peak, feel free to hitch a ride over to the State of NovelArt.
