Another year another flue

The New Year was commenced with a great big flue with high temperatures, that knocked the Minister of Art flat on his back for at least a week. Still not running on all cylinders, but trying to get by as good as possible. The big light-art project FOURCE is still running strong and a few commissions for the Ministry Information department has been cooking through a relatively calm January.

When we today enter into December, we also enter the Yule-tide… You can keep an eye of things on the Ministry Yule-blog of course. There you will find the most yule- and Christmas-related things and happenings of the Ministry.

As everybody knows. Today is the National French-toast Day (U.S. only probably, but it’s a “good” thing every-where). It’s in fact so wide-spread that it is in fact a global concern. It has long traditions that dates back to the Roman Empire in fact. You could argue that the toast survived the Roman Empire… Recipe on the link above. Go make one today! Bon Apetit!

Today it is exactly 1 month till Christmas. Whoha! What ever happened to those 11 months? Yet a year under the belt. Yet a X-mas to cope with. Started your wish-list yet? Bought any presents? Visit the Ministry Yule-blog to get in the spirit of things!

Torsdag 10 november kl 17.00 är det dags för den officiella invigningen, Vernissage om man så vill, av ljuskonstprojektet FOURCE.

Platsen vi valt för detta är det anrika Slättäng, som ligger strax utanför Eslövs tätort. Slättäng är omgärdat av ett antal vindkraftverk lokaliserade i området och som ingår i ljuskonstprojektet - och därför finns det goda möjligheter att kunna få se de belysta verken på invigningens kväll på lite närmare håll.

Vi börjar som sagt kl 17.00 och håller på och minglar och umgås tills alla tröttnat på gigantiska ljusprojekt, tal, berättelser och social samvaro.

Ta gärna med familj, släkt, vänner och kollegor - berätta för dom som inte vet om detta!

Vägbeskrivning:
Vägen mellan Eslöv och Örtofta. Kommer man från Eslöv passerar man ut ur stan, förbi Sallerups kyrka och fortsätter (söderut) mot Örtofta. Efter c:a 2 km (från Sallerups kyrka) gul vägskylt till höger “Slättäng”. Följ grusvägen knappt 2 km till Slättängs Gård. Godset ligger i en 90-graders sväng så man kan knappast missa det. Vi markerar infarten på torsdag!

Kommer man från Örtofta/E22 och Gårdstånga rondellen, eller från Kävlinge, är Slättäng också utsatt med gul vägskylt från vägen mellan Kävlinge och Gårdstånga (väg 104). Man kommer fram till skylten nära väggarp och Lilla Harrie. Därefter är det också att följa grusvägen c:a 2 km.
