Todays documentation flashback is from the HopArt-jump in Hammenhög at the LUR Performance Festival in September 11.

The HopArt in Hammenhög at the performance festival LUR went good. There was a few obstacles, like the shortage of water… Apparently Hammenhög don’t have much water (lakes or rivers). Not even a decent fountain! So the Ministry had to find a solution for this problem and it was solved by bringing our own water to the party. A small pool was set up and then filled by the local fire-fighters. 6.500 liters of fresh water was filled into the little pool in a blink of an eye. Then the scene was set for the jump! At 18.00 local time, the Minister was dressed for protest. Before hand several new protests had been added to the protest list by the people in Hammenhög. A table was setup for people to sit down by and write down anything that was annoying them.

Minister at work in the middle of Hammenhög. The Minister seems to be hovering over the water, just like that guy in the New Testament. But the camera is pulling your leg, Minister is in fact frozen in Mid-Air. The pose made the photographer refer to Yves Klein (and his “Le Saut dans le Vide” we presume) which of course is very flattering. Image credit: Leif Elggren.

The ever growing Protest-list has got a few new additions from the Hammenhög-jump. The protests are, in no particular order:

Todays documentation flashback is from when the HopArt Tour 2007 came to Bergkvara in Småland. A jump was conducted in a little lake. The HopArt jump in Bergkvara (Småland) was in fact the second time (!) HopArt was performed from a boat. The jump was carried out with precision thanks to a skilled oarsman in the keen late summer wind.
Yet another non-rainy day! Since the start of the HopArt Tour in 2002 never has a jump been performed in rain. HopArt is a protest against amongst others “bad weather” - evidently it works. (Click to read the whole protestlist here).
The gallery updates are ongoing. And the newest edition is not only an album but in fact a whole new gallery. To make it easier to access a whole new HopArt-Gallery has been created that contains all HopArt-albums published so far. You can have a look and browse through it here.
The documentation of the Ministry has finally picked up speed. Several years of work has not been properly displayed through the Ministry site before. But that is about to change and yet a new album has been added. This album is a recollection of the third jump of the HopArt Tour. This time the HopArt Tour went to a little fishing-village - Mölle.
The forth jump on the HopArt Tour, august 2002. The Leap of Faith.
See the album here, in the Ministry Gallery.
Another day, another album. Yet a new album in the Ministry galleries has been added. It’s a recollection of the prehsitoric era of HopArt. The test-jump. Before the Minister set out to perform his premier jump into unknown waters, he wanted to try out his swimming-skills in a business suite. The test-jump was conducted in Trollhättan at an outfdoors pool area, with life-guards standning by. It all ended up on thr frontpage of the local newspaper the day after… Check out the new album here.
A new album in the galleries have been added. It’s a recollection of the Premier jump on the HopArt Tour that took place in Borås and river Viskan a rainy day in July 2002. Check out the new album here.

Note the name of the Minister (has been changed since then).
