Work in progress

Tuesday, August 15th, 2006

ARCHIVE Part 3 – The composing work that is going on now, inspired by the former exhibitions of ARCHIVE, will be a part of the ARCHIVE-exhibitions series and will by all probabilities be “Part III” in the ARCHIVE project. At the moment there is three more projects planned in the ARCHIVE that eventually will be published. Part IV is also in progress and are already taking form. Pre-planning has given a probable location for the upcoming exhibition. Part IV will contain a whole new sort of artefacts instead of the photographs and installations that Part I and Part II indulged in. The upcoming soundtrack for Part III will also be a whole new experience compared to the somewhat repetative soundtrack of the former exhibitions. The soundtrack for Part III will in fact be the main part of the ARCHIVE Part III.

Co-operation spawns new site

Sunday, August 13th, 2006

The co-operation between the Ministry and the eletronica band Neurobash will be further presented at the soon opening NeuroArt.net-homepage. NeuroArt will also become the new label for the art/media and graphic design department of Neurobash. More about this as soon as possible.

New art/music project announced

Friday, August 11th, 2006

The cooperation between the Ministry of Art & Jump and the music group Neurobash continues with another art music project. This time it is the exhibitions under the name ARCHIVE – Eslöv By The Sea that will be interpreted in music by Neurobash. One of the main objective with the historical art project was to, once and for all, get rid of the ridiculous notion that Eslöv should be the most boring town in Sweden – the project proved rather the opposite after it’s thorough examinations of old archives. The forthcoming music will be presented live later this year – dates are not set.

…simply wrong

Gallery report

Monday, August 7th, 2006

From the Ministry there are reports on that the upcoming Gallery has got a rocket start all of a sudden. Preparations has undergone a quick phase and recently two new windows has been opened up facing the Helipad and towards the north-light at the backside of the Ministry. The planned gallery is already hooked up when it comes to electric and heat. A small renovation of a wall has to be done and a new flooring has to be put in. Otherwise a huge leap has been taken towards a working gallery/studio. Since a bigger painting 3×1,5 meters is being planned this is good stuff. The cheering will never stop.

Without god…

“Without god, the world might be very simple: good people would do good things, and bad people would do bad ones, but to make *good* people do *bad* things, you need a religion.”
