4 kg Green tomatoes
6-8 small Onions
24 cl (or 16 tablespoons) Vinegar
1 liter water
1 1/2 Kg Sugar
2 tablespoons Yellow mustard seeds
4-5 pieces of whole cinnamon
Start with boiling the tomatoes in salted water for about 1 hour. Let them simmer, they need to get softened up. During this time you take the opportunity to heat up the water (1 liter) and simmer the sugar in it to a nice and simmery sugar marinade/liquor. When it’s cooled down a bit and the tomatoes are turning soft you add the vinegar. (Put a lid on it or it will just vaporize).
Put the tomatoes, onions (sliced or cut up) and the spices (mustard seeds and cinnamon) in empty (clean) jars and pour the sugar mariande over it till last. Voila!
Now put it in your pantry and leave it there for at least 2-3 weeks before sampling the goodies.

2 msk Gula Senapsfrö
4-5 Hel Kanel
Tomaterna kokas mjuka i saltat vatten c:a 1 timme
Koka sockerlagen simmig (under tiden för att effektivisera 😉
Fördela tomaterna, löken (delad eller skivad) och kryddorna i burkarna och häll på lagen till sist.
Ska lagras i skafferiet 2-3 veckor innan de kan provas/ avnjutas.
