Happy New Year

Break out the bubbly stuff! It’s the last day of the year. A brand new year is just around the corner. Happy New Year and a sincere hope for all readers that 2011 will be your best year so far. The Ministry of Art & Jump wishes you the best of all and a happy ending of 2010. So far it has been a cold and white start of the winter and perhaps this will be one of the coldest and snowiest winters in many odd years. Several new art projects have seen the light of day during 2010 and a few is still in pipe-line for 2011. Stay tuned for updates and more information about the different projects.

FramÃ¥tlutande bänkar…

Tuesday, December 28th, 2010

Merry Christmas

Today the Minister is busy with Jansson, rice pudding, julskinka and other x-mas related food. The Ministry of Art & Jump wishes all of you a very Merry Christmas, where ever you are.

Solstice!

Thursday, December 23rd, 2010

As you all might know the winter solstice has passed by and we are now heading for better (and lighter times). To honor this fact the Minister is today wearing Hawaii shirt (Note the new seasonal bling bling christmas cowboy hat!). If you think the picture is blurred, it probably depend on you drinking too much glögg or other alcohol related drinks. (Shame on you!)

Equestrian updated

Saturday, December 18th, 2010

The ongoing project of the Equestrian statue has been updated with new images from December 10. The Structural Model was built in Helsingborg, outside Dunkers Kulturhus. It was erected on October 20:th – the date for the 200 year anniversary of the Swedish King, the House of Bernadotte. On December 10 (Alfred Nobel Day) the statue was moved to another (temporary) location.

Blast that Sparrow!

Friday, December 17th, 2010

That damn jack Sparrow is now moving into the Ministers field of work… (note the ending of the video). The fourth (!) film of Jack Sparrow and the Pirates of the Caribbean. Damn good matinée-feeling! 😉 I can’t wait to see it! Link from The Telegraph!

You can also see it on this YouTube clip…

According to all well informed sources tonight is the night when you should look up at the night sky. The “Geminids” are going to give us a fantastic light show.

There could be as much as 120 visible stars falling per hour…
