HopArt
Protest list
In the Swedish language, the word Jump has a double meaning. The word is "hopp", and this word can either mean "to hope" or "to jump". (IN fact one can also see relationship between “hop” and “hope” in the English language). You can jump for joy or make a jump (into the water - to drown yourself) in despair. There is even people who participates in jumping competitions. Then you can jump high because you get startled and scared. In this case the Minister jumps into the water in order to protest.
The minister of Art & Jump is acting forcefully when protesting on the grand scheme of things through his HopArt. The Minister is in a way conveying The Peoples voice. Like a savior, a Messiah, he carries the problem of The People on his shoulders and by hopping he is hoping that a bettering of things will follow. For sure the world is a bit different after the jump, a change has occured.
The protests list was started by the Ministry but have then underway been added to by the audience(s). The order of the protests does not indicate any ranking among themselves. During a performance lasting less than a second, the Minister protest against the order of things, not least against the boredom of everyday life:
