Traditional Goose-dinner

The yearly tradition in November of Goose-eating (the so called GÃ¥sa-midda) has now been carried out at the Ministry. “MÃ¥rten Goose” is a tradition not much unlike the American tradition of eating turkey at Thanksgiving – both in magnitude and importance. This all means a huge dinner with guest and usually one eat all too much (as was the case also this year). The Minister and party are now (extremely) full after eating all the accessories, drinking copious amounts of good drinks (wine, beer, cider and more), and then it’s always tradition of eating desserts, sweets and more. The tradition is a big apple-pie with rivers of vanilla sauce.
